Darrell Christie (Bryan)Darrell Christie was the Rise, Shine, Sing! Music Facilitator from 2019-2021. Darrell Christie is an Adjunct Lecturer at Queen’s University where he teaches choral music, conducting, voice, and music theatre. Outside of Queen’s he is Artistic Director of the Kingston Chamber Choir and a regular soloist throughout Ontario. Darrell’s area of research focuses on collaborative community composition and finding new ways to compose music at a grass roots level.
Rebecca Draisey-CollishawDr. Rebecca Draisey-Collishaw was part of the Rise, Shine, Sing! team during the 2019-2020 academic year. She completed her PhD in ethnomusicology at Memorial University in 2017 and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the DAN School of Drama and Music, Queen's University in 2021. Rebecca currently resides in the UK with she is an ethnomusicologist and independent scholar.
Nicole EmmertonNicole Emmerton was an Undergraduate Research Assistant with Rise, Shine, Sing! during the 2020-2021 season. Nicole graduated with a BA (Honors) concentratin in Music and Psychology. She is currently completing her B.Ed degree at Queen's Faculty of Education.
Megan McIntyre
Megan McIntyre was an Undergraduate Research Assistant with Rise, Shine, Sing! from 2019 - 2021. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in 2021 with a Music major and French minor while taking Math on the side. She is currently completing a B.Ed degree at Queen's Faculty of Education.

Charis FosterCharis Foster was a Research Assistant for Rise, Shine, Sing! during the 2019-2020 academic year. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Music and Development Studies in Spring 2020. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Education degree during the 2020-2021 academic year.
